Suzi is one of the first people to reach out to me on this forum. I don't think I have the words to express how I feel, other than I am blessed to have been touched by her kindness. Suzi if you are getting these messages, thank you my friend for being there for me and all the others on this forum. I know you will be at peace. I will always hold you dear to my heart.

Love,

Karen

Sadie, You have been such an inspiration to us all. I have the same disease as you and have read each post intently. You have been so strong. Stronger than most of us whiners. Thank you! Keep fighting. Don't you give up!, Love, Birdman and Bmw

As a regular, I am new to this forum & the first post I read from you Sadie was an update on how Hospice has been. As I read posts, I always have this image in my mind of what the person looks like, and with your post that day; I imagined this beautiful woman with a radiating smile, exuding this peace that rubs off on others, in a post none the less, without having to be here in person to make that happen.

I didn't have to read everyone else's posts today to know how much you will be missed & I've only just met you. Your braveness & courage is an inspiration to me, and just like the happiness & peace that rubbed off on me when I read that first post, I know all I'll have to do is think of you to feel it again.

Thank you for sharing so much of yourself!

Dearest Sadie ~

I do hope you get all these wonderful heartfelt messages. I too am very new, but you were special the first time I read your post. And then when you said you were getting Hospice...well, I thought, "what a wonderfully brave and gracious woman." To share your most intimate moments with this group tells a lot about the person you are.

Please rest and be at peace ~ and know that there are many, many sincere friends who would love to hold you and comfort you at this time.

You are an inspiration and a wonderful example for others, your grace makes you shine right through your picture!

Much love,

Nina

Darlene,

Thank you for letting us know how Sadie is doing Please give Sadie lots and lots of hugs from all of us. She has been such an inspiration - always positive and upbeat. I'm glad to read that she is at peace with the situation, but I wouldn't expect anything less from such a strong person. She will be in my thoughts.

Big Hugs to both you and Sadie,

Sadie- it has been a privelege to have known you. You have shown that it is possible to be live life fully, with humour and compassion for others, until the end. Have a good journey.

I've heard people say that a good life is always about moving towards something or somewhere - Thank you Sadie for making that real for me. You've shown how peaceful and satisfying it is to move towards your new future.

I'll remember you always.

Sadie,

I sent you an e-mail which I hope someone read to you. It took many years before I felt comfortable enough to post on a forum. And when I did I found out there were some mean spirited people out there. Until I met you Sadie. You were always kind and calm. Never ever said a mean thing to anyone. You even told me there's a forum where the people are real nice, you should come over. And I did. You extended your friendship to me and made me feel better. You sent me pictures, which I enjoyed, especially when that man brought a real baby deer to the hospice. Those were phenomenal and I thank you for sharing that and making my day!

Sadie I said there's a special place for people like you and I meant it. I hope someday to see you. I know you'll be truly pain free at last and running around, maybe dancing too. And as for happiness, you've always had it!

Your friend,

Doris (Razz)
