Thank you for letting us know. 36 is so young, and she was so upbeat in her posts throughout her fight...which amazes me... I mean she just exuded peace & joy in her posts, as well as her courage & strength. My thoughts are with her family & friends here & at home.

Suzi always came across as being positive and a very caring person even though she was suffering so much herself. It is difficult to express in words about such a special person but now she will be at peace. My thoughts are also with her family over the coming days.

Sheryl ,

What a sad way to start the day.....I am so glad that Sadie is 'perfect' now and not in pain, though. I had no idea she was so young. My sympathies and thoughts to her friends and family. Her faith shined through for all to see.........

Take care, Everyone.

Sheryl thank you for letting us know.

Suzie will be missed terribly. Her positive attitude and always knowing what to say in any situation is what I will remember most. She always had kind words and was still willing to help others even when she was struggling. Amazing....

Hugs,

Lisa

Thank you Sheryl for letting us know. I am releived that she is at peace and pain free, but sad at the same time. Suzi was one of a kind, and her compassoin and courageous spirit will be missed. She reached out to me immediately and would console me when I felt down. Her strength and generuous spirit I will keep in my heart. I loved to hear about her cat Sadie, and how she kept her amused.

With a heavy heart, I say goodbye for now my friend. I know you will be there waiting for me and all of us here that love and care for you.

Karen

You know when you've met someone special when even though you have never met them "personally and in person" that when they pass on this life that you sit and cry and cry. That is what I'm doing right now. She was a great person and her posts were always filled with such kind and supportive words. She had such a great grasp on this disease and so accepting of what it was doing to her. I know we all have a very special guardian angel that will watch out for all of us afflicted with this disease but it still doesn't help the terrible hurt and sadness I feel right now. I guess I was hopeful that somehow she would magically pull out of this and fool them all........................But now she is at peace and free of pain and is a special angel to all above. She is casting her bright outlook and kindness with such ease and we all can learn a special gift from her.............to just be there and to care......................

I will miss you and I send you the warmest of hugs,

Peggy

There are a few members who were close to Sadie to whom she gave her personal information, but we are not permitted to share this on the forums.

Sam plans on calling Suzie's family and finding out more information. Maybe Suzie's friend is saving all of our messages and then will give them to Suzie's family. I sure hope so.

Strength and Warmth,

Sheryl

I am at a loss for words. Through the tears of sorrow, I am glad there is now peace for such a brave soul. Much love to you Sadie and warm thoughts to your family during this time of loss.

I may have Scleroderma, but Scleroderma doesn't have me!

I am so sad to hear all of this. My heart goes out to her and her family.

although I didn't know Suzie well, the few times I spoke to her, her goodness and light heartedness really shone through.

She was very sweet, but at least she is no longer in pain and in a much more beautiful and peaceful place.
