Scleroderma

Hello I'm 31 and my rheumatologist has a high suspicion that I have scleroderma. I was also diagnosed with GERD, and autoimmune hepatis, but liver enzymes at this time are normal. ANA positive. I have 3 kids and I'm scared. I just joined because I have been reading other people's stories and the reply are awesome and kind. Well I will post all of your soon with the beginning of how all of this started.

Dear Juanis,

I'm sorry they suspect scleroderma. It sounds like you already have enough to deal with, just with the hepatitis. Please keep in mind that scleroderma is often quite manageable. Some forms are on the "mild" side (considering). It's a pleasure to have you join us!

Welcome Juanis ,

I am so very happy that you found this wonderful forum, I know you will be happy here. I am sorry that you are having such terrible problems. Please feel your way around and read some of the informative articles that you can find here. Educate yourself and don't worry yourself too much at this point. Focus on managing your hepiatitis, I'm sure that is very complicated.

Please feel free to ask any questions you may have, there will definitely be someone here that can help you out.

Much love,

Nina (DE)

Hi Juanis,

Welcome to our forum! Everyone here is so supportive and fantastic and I'm sure you'll find comfort within our ISN family. Please try not to worry and stress about the possibility of having scleroderma. The symptoms vary from person to person. Presently there have been advancements in research and treatments than ten years ago when I was first diagnosed.

There are links on our forum for managing stress and fatigue which would be helpful especially since you have a family who needs you. Feel free to ask questions at any time. I hope you feel better and please do keep us posted! :)

Hugs,

Razz

Juanis,

I'd like to join the others in welcoming you to the ISN forum You obviously know already that it's a great place for support and information. I'm sorry to read that you are suspected of having scleroderma and are already dealing with GERD and AH. The good news in your posting is that you have 3 darling children to keep you focused on life and fun things. You can't have a much better motivator than that. So work close with your doctors, stay on top of any and all symptoms, but in the meantime - have fun with your lovely children.

I look forward to learning more about you.

Big Hugs,
