With regard to Medicare, my social security rep contacted me to tell me that I am eligible the month I started receiving benefits 2 years later, so for me that's February of 2010. If you got some material I'm sure you will find that time limit somewhere in that material too. Let me know if you find out differently. Again, welcome home and welcome back!
