I'm back!

I am back in action and I just so thankful for your kind thoughts and notes.

I have had my stem cell transplant and while in the hospital

I got an infection and ended up spending three months in a coma where I then had two strokes.

I am back now and working my way down the long road to recovery.

I am still not very good at typing but I'm lucky to have such a good

looking husband who can type at a third grade level.

Hugs, Peanut

We have all been very worried about you and this extended silence, but we also knew what you were going through. I can say how happy I am to see that you're back! Well Peanut, it's sooooo great to see you actually post (although your friend kept us updated quite well), we've missed you terribly!! :) :) :) :)

I never had a doubt you'de make it through but I sure wish you didn't have to contend with the infection fallout on top of the transplant...you've been in the heart of all our thoughts, I'm sure of that and thank goodness that's now behind you. I'm so glad to hear that you are recovering more and more every day and feeling stronger all the time. I'm sure it won't be long before you push that good looking husband of yours over to the side just a little so you can take over that keyboard ;) Welcome back!!

Sending good wishes your way!

Hi Peanut,

I'm thrilled that you are back on Sclero Forums, at long last!!!

Many of you don't know that Peanut has been back as an ISN Artist for a few months now and she is as delightful as ever on the phone. If you don't have a Forums Avatar yet (the picture next to each posted message), you can select an avatar from your "My Controls" link that is in the yellow bar at the top of every forums page.

In my controls, look for "Avatar" settings and follow the instructions. You'll see each avatar lists the artist. To get a "Peanut" avatar, select any image that is by Lisa Volz.

Mega welcome back, Peanut -- it seems like nearly forever that we've been tracking your stem cell transplant progress and, admittedly, worried like crazy about you.

Warm Hugs,

Hello Peanut

I joined when you were having your transplant so don't actually know you. I read about your progress and intersted then read your own website.

You have been through a lot but have come out the other side of it, clearly you have a lot of support here. I hope you eventually recover to that pre sclero state...normal. :)

Take care.

Amanda

Welcome back from me too. Hope that you will soon be seeing the benefits of your SCT and that your road to complete recovery is short.

You have made my day! I was so surprised and happy when I saw your post. I have thought about you so much and I was continually pulling for you. I am so glad that you are on the road to recovery and that what you have had to go through is probably something you should some day put into a book. You are an inspiration to all of us. You never give up and you always take everything on with a smile and an upbeat attitude. You have been missed so much and I am so anxious to hear more from you.
