Penny
Does anyone know of something that can be used to replace eggs in recipes? I am allergic to eggs and there are eggs in just about everything... Egg substitutes that I have found in stores still have egg in them! They are simply modified to remove cholesterol and I would love to find something that I could simply use in the place of eggs in my favorite dishes. Thanks, Penny
Jeannie McClelland
That's an interesting question! A quick web search seemed to substitute starches if it is binding power you want and banana for moisture. Most of the recipes are tailored for vegans, it seems. Penny
Thank you, Jeannie, I will try using different starches and apple or pear sauce (I can't use banana, a migraine trigger for me) and cross my fingers. I am craving a piece of white cake with milk chocolate frosting (of all things) and I will experiment with different things until I get my cake... Penny
