Guest Jude the Grouch

Congratulations Carrie! You already know what an awesome bunch "work" for the ISN. I am the grouchy one over here in the corner. They don't let me out too often. Sigh...

All hail the Big Kahuna!! We're in such great hands with you, Carrie. Now, a question, do we have to remove our hats and bow as you pass by or is that only for Shelley?

In all seriousness, heartfelt congratulations.

Hi Jeannie,

Correct ISN protocol requires both bowing AND scraping for the ISN Sclero Forums Director! The scraping part can be done anytime you are scrubbing a pan. When you've achieved the fingernails-on-chalkboard sound, you have it nailed.

The bowing part can be more challenging. It requires a full bow, all the way to touching your toes. Yeah, I know, OUCH, big time.

That's why we have Carrie safely tucked away in Scotland. It helps reduce claims for broken backs and ringing in the ears among our membership.

Don't you think some bagpipes would be nice, as we chant, "All hail the Big Kahuna?" Uh, I mean, "All hail our totally fabulous new ISN Sclero Forums Director -- of forums, chats, blogs, and videos?"

Aw, thanks, guys. :D I figured I'd better jump in here before somebody actually starts playing the bagpipes.

Leave it to Shelley to find new ways to squeeze another ounce of work out of us. Seriously, I enjoy working and playing with every one of you. Thanks for being who you are and warm, gracious hugs to all.

Warm wishes,

Jefa

(Swiftly hides the bagpipes after doing a speed read through "piping for dummies".)

Bagpipes, what bagpipes? (As a mournful sound like a constipated elephant seal emanates from under the hastily thrown pillow, which surprisingly sounds better than the noises I was trying to coax from it earlier.)

Congratulations, Jefa!

(Bows my most courtly bow and promptly falls out of the wheelchair, landing on the pillow that 'mysteriously' lets out a squeal which manages to have all the neighborhood dogs howling in seconds.)
