Cheerful Carole,

You crack me up! I really like how you identify your appointments as social events. I have 2 such events this week myself. The first with my local primary doctor to take blood for my Rheumatologist , so I don't have to drive too far and the second to see the surgeon who delftly removed my cancerous thyroid 2 1/2 weeks ago. What to wear?!? <_<

Have a safe trip tomorrow to your Pulmo.

Carole,

I missed your "notification"...I will be awaiting your report on how the pulmo app't went.

Cheryle,

I hope all goes well for you this week, also.

Are you doing okay since your surgery?

Please take care...both of you Ladies!

Soft Hugs for you both!

Hi Carole

I hope the appointment was ok today. Im in Scotland visiting my daughter this week, and 100 miles on the roads up here is no easy task)

You say that 'being so cheerful keeps you going' - well I think your cheerfullness keeps us all going!

I love reading your posts - have you considered doing a blog on here? you would be great!

Debbie :D

Carole,

How did your Pulmo appointment go? I'm anxious to hear.

Susie,

Yes, I'm doing really well, thanks. Doctors did reduce my Prednisone just before surgery so that I could heal better, so I'm having a few extra joint issues, but I am skimming along quite well. I will soon have a treatment of Radioactive Iodine with a week of isolation. After that, and some adjustments to my Synthroid medication, I think things will be back to somewhat normal.

Thank you for the update to your appointment, Cheryle.

Since the Prednisone helped with your joints so well, hopefully your healing process will be done soon.

I am so glad you are doing as well as you are!

My sister-in-law also had the radioactive iodine treatment after her thyroid cancer surgery, a few years ago. I also remember her staying isolated, as you will be.

Take care of yourself, Cheryle.

Like Carole, you have a wonderful attitude, which is so helpful with what we all go through.
