Moving to San Diego

3 posts in this topic

We are moving to San Diego and I am really looking forward to the climate! However, this means establishing a new medical team :( Does anybody have any recommendations for Rheumatologist in the San Diego area?

Thanks so much!

Hi Rosa,

Congratulations on your upcoming move! I'm sure you'll love the climate in San Diego. I lived there, upteen years ago, and the weather was about 76 degrees, sunshine and perfect surfing weather nearly every day of the year.

Your nearest scleroderma experts would be in Los Angelos, at UCLA. That's a pretty fast hop, skip and a jump and even pretty cheap on a red eye flight, or about a 3 hour drive. Often the expert centers can then help coordinate your care with a local rheumatologist. If people know of a rheumatologist in San Diego, they can send you a PM with their contact information (because we only feature listed scleroderma experts on the forums).

Warm Hugs,
